Our CEO David Sudolsky had an incredible opportunity of sharing fresh insights on DataCamp’s podcast DataFramed. This episode featured an interesting take on the status of women on data science. Aside from that, David also got to share Boldr’s success story on partnering with DataCamp, where he talked about the future of outsourcing and how a purpose-driven company like Boldr prepares for such a great leap. A purpose-driven approach to outsourcing empowers Clients, Company, and Community
Gone are the days that BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) companies are merely offices packed with rows of agents in front of computers. This industry is not just about relentlessly typing in data and attending to calls 24/7 anymore. For David, there’s more to outsourcing than just providing services, and it is always important to understand the strengths (and weaknesses) of your business.
“I started Boldr because I wanted to rewrite the rules of outsourcing.” David has this vision from the very beginning. He believes that such a big industry can provide a more meaningful effect by being impact-driven rather than just keeping the eye on the profit.
But what does it really mean to be purpose-driven? Customizing business solutions for our clients is one thing. But most of all, David emphasizes on being committed to developing the skills of our team members as well as creating an impact on the community. By honing their talents and involving them in community work, we boost their morale and remind them of the bigger purpose they have at Boldr.

Coping with the demands of a tech-driven industry is valuable
It’s no secret that we’re way past the digital age (most theorists even think that we’re entering the post-human era!), so yes, we’re seeing the rise of the robots. With this transition, we’re looking into a threat to the BPO industry: Repetitive tasks can now be done by bots and pre-programmed tools with zero errors. And our clients are aware of the technologies available at their disposal, so more than just providing these resources, it’s fine time that we upskill our team members to make them flexible and future-ready.
“We acknowledge that technology will continue to evolve the way people work, and we’re looking to ride this next wave of technology by aggressively adopting it.” David understands that these upcoming innovations can be uncharted territory for most people in the industry. In fact, BPOs have to be extra careful and wise to successfully ride this wave; otherwise, it’s an endless void they can fall into.
